In this role, you'll assist with the development, planning, coordination, marketing, and implementation of the on-site fitness programs ensuring the highest level of participation and customer satisfaction. You'll teach 4-5 group exercise classes weekly and provide personal training, fitness testing, exercise prescription, orientations, and fitness floor coverage. You will also assist with planning, and implementing any events or recreation leagues onsite. Other duties as-needed/assigned.Full Time, Full Benefits Package/PTO, Paid Holidays
Schedule: 40 hours/wk, M-F shifts vary between 5:45am-9pm, will work between two facilities on a corporate campus
What you bring with you:
Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology or related discipline and 1+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education, current certifications and experience.
Current Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
Industry recognized Group Exercise certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM or NETA required; if not current, will be required within 90 days of hire
Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider a plus.
Demonstrated experience in leading, coordinating and delivering effective programs including budgeting, marketing and promotions.
Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.
Proficiency in fitness assessment and exercise prescription if applicable.
Compensation: $55,000- $62,500 per year. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
