HealthFitness is looking for an indoor cycling instructor to join our dynamic fitness team at our corporate site located in Long Island City, NY, across from the N, W, and 7 subway. In this position you will provide fun, effective, energetic and safe indoor cycling classes to members. If you are a person with high energy who finds enjoyment in helping people, then this position is for you! This is a part-time position, teaching one Thursday evening class per week.Minimum Requirements
- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited Indoor Cycling certification required.
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
- 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
- Applicants must meet hiring requirements, including a background check.
Compensation: $50 - $55/Hour for classes. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
