CrossFit Fairfax is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in caring for our community, being on the front lines and overseeing client communication. You will also help develop our coaching staff and ensure that the facilities and daily issues related to operations are occurring according to expectations and policies. This position reports directly to CrossFit Fairfax’s Owners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Lead a team of coaches to ensure superior service to members
● Work with ownership to help drive revenue through increased membership numbers, additional programs, and member retention
● Manage client relationships
● Ensure that all forms of member communication and general inquiries are handled with speed, accuracy, and care
● Manage monthly coaching schedules
● Management and update of daily workout programming
● Plan, coordinate and facilitate community and promotional events
● Coordinate with owner preventative equipment maintenance, repair and inspection and well as cleaning activities for continuous operation of the facility and all equipment.
● Stay abreast of current CrossFit developments, competitions, and opportunities

● Experience with Gym Management Software preferred
● Experience planning and managing events

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
● 2+ years of experience in Customer Support and/or Business Management, or related disciplines
● Experience with ZenPlanner or other client management systems
● CrossFit Level 1 or higher required
● Experience coaching CrossFit
● This is a part-time position for ~10 hours per week. The job requires on-site time with the opportunity for some work from home as well as coaching classes.
