Job Description
HealthFitness is looking for a Zumba/Dance Instructor to join the fitness team at our corporate client site located in Richmond, VA, on the outskirts of Virginia Commonwealth University near the Virginia War Memorial. In this position you will provide fun, effective and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as Zumba or dance, teaching onsite and streaming virtually. This is a position teaching up to 4 classes per week at lunchtime. Onsite parking is available in the parking garage.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
  • Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
  • 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
  • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
