Your Impact:
The Health Educators support the HealthFitness mission to improve the health and well-being of the people we serve, by delivering in-person health education seminars on a variety of wellness subjects.
Health Educators provide engaging, practical, science-based seminars in a group setting to help raise awareness of healthy choices and reduce health risks among employees. HealthFitness educational seminars are one-hour seminars in stress, better sleep, flexibility, relaxation, and physical activity.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person health & wellness education seminars.
- Adhere to HealthFitness performance and professionalism standards including, but not limited to, data privacy (HIPPA) and confidentiality policies.
- Complete pre-event and post-event checklist of deadline driven tasks including attendance tracking and communication follow up.
What you’ll bring with you:
- Associates degree or higher in nutrition, health promotion, health education, exercise physiology or other health related field; or equivalent combination of education and/or industry-related experience.
- Experience with leading group presentations.
- Qualified candidates must have a reliable form of transportation and must have frequent access to the internet via mobile phone, tablet, computer and/or laptop.
- Successful Health Educators have the ability to work independently, display strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, engage and motivate participants, manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and demonstrate reliability and consistency.
- Will be required to follow any current or future site COVID-19 vaccination policies including but not limited to proof of vaccination, weekly testing, etc.
