Job title: Studio Assistant Manager
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of our boxing and fitness facility, including hiring, training, and managing employees, providing excellent customer service to members, assisting with sales, and promoting the facility through marketing and promotions.
Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility, including staff scheduling, equipment maintenance, and facility cleanliness.
Hire, train, and manage facility staff, including the Facility Maintenance and Cleaning Associate, Personal Trainers, and Group Fitness Instructors.
Provide excellent customer service to members by answering questions, providing guidance, and resolving issues.
Assist with sales by promoting memberships, personal training sessions, and other services offered by the facility.
Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase awareness of the facility and attract new members.
Create and distribute promotional materials, such as flyers, posters, and social media posts.
Plan and execute facility events and promotions, such as open houses, free trials, and referral programs.
Maintain the facility's social media accounts and website, ensuring that they are updated regularly with relevant and engaging content.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Ensure that all staff members follow facility policies and procedures, including safety and cleanliness guidelines.
Provide regular reports to the General Manager on facility operations, staff performance, and customer feedback.
Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a fitness or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and marketing skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of fitness equipment and industry trends.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
