- Motivate and inspire participants to have a safe, fun, and effective fitness class experience.
- Demonstrate exercises clearly and monitors participants to offer modifications as needed.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where participants feel connected and comfortable.
- Keep accurate class attendance records.
- Ensure that all fitness equipment is returned to its proper place at the end of each class. This includes shutting down all audio equipment and fans, and preparing the studio for the next class.
- Responsible for finding a substitute instructor when unable to teach scheduled class.
- Punctual and reliable to teach regularly scheduled classes while flexible to cover additional classed as needed.
- Answer participants’ questions to support them in achieving their fitness journey.
- Maintain up-to-date fitness certifications and stay informed about the latest fitness trends.
- Attend all required department meetings and trainings.
- Ensure all Park District’s safety policies are being followed and implemented
We are specially looking for someone that can teach the following formats. Must have flexible availability. Specifically looking for someone that is available to teach:
Step (M&W at 7:45am)
Les Mills Bodypump (M at 9am, and M at 6pm)
