As a full-time Health Fitness Professional, you will make a direct impact on the health and well-being of our members through the coordination, implementation, and delivery of health and fitness improvement programs and services, fitness center promotions and outreach activities. You'll provide personal training, deliver group exercise classes, monitor the fitness facility, and design programs to meet the member's interests, abilities and goals. Other duties as needed/assigned. Working weekdays approx. 32-40 hours per week! Site opens 8AM & closes at 6:30PM. Located near The Woodlands Mall with full benefits & PTO!
What You’ll Bring With You:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology or related discipline. Ideal applicants will also have 1+ years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry.
- Current Adult First Aid and CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute. Note: certification must have an in-person component and not 100% online/OSHA complaint
- Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider.
- Industry recognized Group Exercise certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NCCPT or NETA required within 90 days.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft office and the ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems.
- Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
