Personal Trainer (part-time), Barrington, IL
Up to 20 hours per week
Our Personal Trainers are true professionals and they design customized workout programs and train our members based on personalized needs and goals. In this role, you'll conduct fitness testing and assessments, advise participants of results, and provide 1-1 personal training to members. As a Personal Trainer, you will also help educate members about the fundamentals of strength and cardiovascular training, address the proper and safe use of applicable equipment, and help maintain a clean and organized fitness floor. Other duties as needed/assigned. Limited floor hours for up to 3 months, then 100% commission with a flexible schedule.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider.
- Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with members.
- Complete all assigned HealthFitness continued education and learning.
- Attend meetings individually with manager and periodic team meetings.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding in revenue goals set by Fitness Manager.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
- Needs to multitask, learn quickly, and possess the skills to understand and complete scheduling tasks on CRM system.
