Job Description
The Shrewsbury Club is currently hiring for a personal trainer who has aspirations to become a fitness leader.
The Shrewbury Club is a family run and operated large tennis and fitness and athletics facility. We have four indoor tennis courts a 38,000 ft.² turf field baseball infield and Olympic gymnastics facility a kids club, a martial arts, dojo, racquetball courts, basketball equipment, soccer equipment and an outdoor swimming pool. We are a large independently run club.
We are looking to add a fitness department. We have a large fitness floor with free weights, selectorised weight equipment, treadmills and other cardio equipment, a group exercise studio, and we are looking for personal trainers and group exercise instructors to provide services fitness programming to our members and to our junior athletes.
Currently, we have over 20 baseball travel teams that are in need of athletic development on a weekly basis we have a large tennis program and a growing membership base where a motivated personal trainer who follows a consistent acquisition process could thrive. Furthermore, we will be looking to expand our fitness department in the future, and there is the opportunity for a successful personal trainer to lead and hire a department behind them .
Any applicant must work within a team environment. We are not looking to hire any traveling or multiple site personal trainers. We are looking for a trainer or trainers who want a long-term home and to grow with the department they help build.
