Nicole Manus has been an ACE certified professional since 2006. She serves as the Community Health Director for the YMCA of the Inland Northwest. In this capacity she hires and supports Lifestyle Coaches (Personal Trainers and Health Coaches) who work in specialty programs which often have a medical interface. These are very part time positions with huge transformational impact -- working with individuals who may not be served in other gym environments. One of the most powerful programs we offer is a signature partnership with a Federally Qualified Health Center wherein our trainers work alongside clinicians (dietitians, pharmacists, behavioral health specialists and primary care providers) to support underserved individuals in developing health transformation pathways that engage them in whole person -- spirit, mind, and body -- wellness pursuits. The program engages coaches and program participants in a dynamic process of co-creation. Many of our team members have other jobs but do this work part time because it feeds their souls and allows them to see the real power of relationship focused coaching and to use their expertise in ways that dramatically change lives.
